This issue with Reggie in NOR was his rushing, not really his receiving.

Cooks is a WR, but will play a hybrid role, I think the Harvin comparison is legit.

With Sproles gone, you're losing Rushing attempts and Receptions. He averaged around 60 rushes and 75 receptions.

I think Cooks will get about 1/4 of the rushing attempts and 1/2 of the Sproles RB receptions and probably add another 30 all over the field.

That would put Cooks at around 15 rushes and 65 receptions or so. I think he'll break 1000 yards from scrimmage with that load and about 6 total TDs.

Here's some similar players in their 1st year:

Randall Cobb (I added year 2 because of how stacked they were at receiver in his 1st year)
Year 1
2 rush - 5 yards
25 receptions - 375 yards, 1 TD
941 kickoff return yards, 1 TD
295 punt return yards, 1 TD

Year 2
10 rush - 132 yards
80 receptions - 954 yards, 8 TD
964 kickoff return yards
292 punt return yards, 1 TD

Percy Harvin
15 rush - 135 yards
60 receptions - 790 yards, 6 TD
1156 kickoff return yards, 2 TD

DeSean Jackson
17 rush - 96 yards, 1 TD
62 receptions - 912 yards, 2 TD
12 kickoff return yards
440 punt return yards, 1 TD

Tavon Austin
9 rush - 151 yards, 1 TD
40 receptions - 418 yards, 4 TD
398 kickoff return yards
280 punt return yards, 1 TD

He is going to get more carries than most on here think. I guarantee he sees 10 carries at the very least. I say he gets around 15-20.

. He was not used enough in this offense.(which I stated numerous times during his tenure)

Really?!! He had 88 catches over 500 yds as a rookie to go along with many PR yards. Hardly underutilized

Looking pretty spot on I'd say.

So far

Receptions: 10
Receiving Yards: 94
Rushing Attempts: 3
Rushing yards: 49
Touchdowns: 1

On pace for 80 receptions with 752 yards receiving; 24 rushing attempts for 392 yards.

I don't think his rushing yards will be that, but he has a legit chance at having over 200. Receiving, he's about where I expected. He is as good as advertised thus far.
