Patriots are just doing a the Saints a favor by bumping up the asking price. There isn't any talks here other than that. I know from the source, so yeah

You're about to look so fricking foolish.

I value Garoppolo as only a 6-7 round pick value, the man literally only played in what? 3 games? he hasn't even shown himself to be a reliable backup yet much less a starting QB option.

You apparently don't know how market values work

ya. There are already rumors he(Stills) could get upward of $12mil per year this offseason. My guess is he ends up around $10mil per. Cooks isnt worth much more than that. I'll ask you like i asked the other guy, what do you think Cooks does that much better than Stills?
Everything! If both were on the open market, Stills may get $10, but Cooks would get $14-$15M. You are just trying to be argumentative with this ridiculous Stills crap.

Take your blinders off and think rationally. You value Cooks more because we've invested so much more in him after trading up to get him in the 1st round, not because he is any better then Stills. Bottom line is they are similar players, just in different situations

If Pats deal Jimmy G to Browns for 12th pick then they could in turn offer the 12th pick to the Saints for a straight up trade to get Cooks. I believe they'd do it if you consider he was the 20th pick they'd be trading up pretty significantly.

except the pats don't trade fair compensation

they will trade that #12 pick to move down and turn it into a 2nd and 3rd more then likely, that's the way they make deals, like used car salesmen, you don't get fair deals from them, ever

As for comparable WRs, Kenny Stills netted a 3rd Rder and Ellerbee. Cooks isn't that much better than him.

Cooks has better aggregate stats than Still despite playing one less season. He is no less than 25% better than Stills.

I assumed you were going with the contract angle. 14 mil per year on Gilmore's deal.
