The full #Saints injury report: Marques Colston and Garrett Hartley are out; Vilma doubtful, Porter questionable, everyone else probable.

Now normally I would say this is a huge blow, but it might actually work out in our favor this week. The Texans are more run oriented offense, and Dunbar more of a thumper than Vilma. I could be horribly wrong, and in that case...

I've been saying this for the past 4 seasons...whoever our strength and conditioning coach is, he needs to go

WTF are kidding?? Vilma is the playcaller. that means a lot more than Dunbar being a "thumper"

losing Vilma is a huge blow.

On a positive note we'll get to see Tom Johnson for the first time.

Good thing the D-line will be at full strength.

I gotta admit, not having Vilma has me somewhat nervous.

Our guys are in great shape. You can't help injuries, man. Someone falls on someone's ankle, someone's leg twists the wrong way.. it just happens.

Why do we have the worst luck with injuries? Players get nicked up more than I've ever heard of on this team.

Do you keep up with all teams? The Saints average about the same amount of injuries as any other teams.

W/out Vilma, our weak LB corps is doomed.

I don't know the stats, but I'd be willing to bet we are like top 5-7 in the nfl every year with # of starters missing time...it's crazy.

frick even brees got hurt last year, but stuck it out

everyone on this team misses time and it's getting annoying.

I don't either, but I doubt that. You remember the Packers last year? Pretty much half of their team was out at one point

I was beginning to question the play of a healthy vilma so i'm not worried about a banged up vilma sitting on the sidelines for a game.

yeah, but the saints had more players on IR and the most in the NFL in 09, and last year, we weren't putting players on IR alot, but jesus did everyone miss time or what...the same goes this year

we've already played games without moore, colston, porter...who's next? probably vilma

Why risk it on the 3rd week of the NFL Season playing at home against an AFC team? Will the Dunbar dropoff be that much... i don't think so. Dunbar is an active thumper.
