New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees (9) breaks up a fight between running back Khiry Robinson (29) and linebacker Curtis Lofton (50) during Saints training camp at the Greenbrier resort in West Virginia on Thursday, July 31, 2014. (Michael DeMocker, Nola.com / The Times-Picayune)

Drew needs to back the frick off.

Fights are fine as long as they're not throwing punches and shite

I love that they're both competing at a high level

I'm surprised Brees would be the first one there in on the fight. It's literally just them 3 haha, I would not expect that but no kidding he doesn't need to be even close to that shite.

Earlier tweet said punches were thrown. Khirys right hand looks like it's about to go for an uppercut.

Usually we hear how disappointing our rookie receivers are playing. This is nice to hear

That's a bit of a stretch, considering his fist isn't even clinched.

Why do you think that? He signed a 3 year deal for very low guaranteed money. It's similar to most rookie deals. Rookies get cut all the time.

He played in the CFL, so I'm not certain, but I think he's PS eligible.

This is going to be an interesting pre-season to say the least. There's a player at every position that could contribute, but we may have to end up cutting.

QB: 2 (brees + backup)
RB/FB: 5/6 (ingram, robinson, thomas, cadet, lorig, UDFA?)
WR: 5/6 (colston, cooks, stills, morgan(?), toon (?), UDFA?)
OL: 7/8 (starting 5; goodwin, harris, and kelemete?)
TE: 3 (Graham, Watson, Hill)

DL: 7 (Jordan, Hicks, Jenkins, Bunkley, Galette, Walker, and Foster)
LB: 7/8 (Butler, Hawthorne, Lofton, Haralson, Dawson, Humber, Reddick, rookie/random?)
CB: 5/6 (Lewis, Bailey, Robinson, White, SJB, and sweeting?)
S: 4/5 (Vaccaro, Byrd, Bush, Sunseri, Ball?)
ST: 3 (Graham, Morestead, and Drescher)

Looking at your possible roster I don't see either of the drafted rookie LB's by name. I've read a few things about Powell but I haven't seen a damn thing about Fortt, did he die or something?

Strange wording for a "saints fan"?

I think Fortt is still not fully healthy.

Fortt and Powell should both be healthy as their injuries were in 2012. Sunseri was the one who got hurt last year but he recovered quickly.

Edit:
I went to go look into it more and yes Fortt's knee surgery was in 2012, but he did have a bicep injury at the end of 2013 and then strained his hamstring at the combine.

Though he is "healthy" and practicing.

As for Powell, his knee injuries were also in 2012, though he suffered a sprained ankle last year and also had a strained hamstring at the combine.
