Hooman will be back this year. Between him, Fleener, and Hill we are good on TE (unless there is very good value in the pick but that goes for all positions).

I honestly haven't seen anything from our TE to suggest they are anything other then journeymen average talent.

maybe they will shock me this year and be great but going into this draft I see TE as a serious but not absolute need position to upgrade.

I don't see much of anything you post that I can disagree with except this idea that we have great TE right now and don't need to get better there

Looks like everyone is indicating that the 32nd pick will be used for Butler...Knowing Belichick don't be surprised if he says he also wants a 7th rd pick too. Lmaoooo

No, the saints moved up a round by being the ones to float this deal while Butler was sold on coming to New Orleans. It would have been an even trade if Butler was eligible to be traded as is.

50+ catches for 600+ yards is far from journeyman stats.

And on top of that we had 3 receivers that needed to be feed, as well as Ingram and for some reason Cadet.

With Cooks gone I expect Fleener to pick up some of that slack and perhaps get closer to 70 catches for 800 yards.

And on a side note they just had to bring back Mr. 5 Yards and Fall Down didn't they. I swear he's the fricking Scott Shanle of the offense. Yes he has a role and does his job, but that's literally all he does. If he makes more than 2 big plays in a season it's a surprise.

You don't wanna bring back cadet but are all for bringing back the crappy players we've been trotting out on our league worst Defenses for years

That appears to be the case. Awful.

Acquiring a shutdown corner for the #32 pick is deemed awful

Champ Bailey maybe? And maybe Sam Madison (though maybe he was just a FA)?

Nevermind Bailey was for Portis. But Portis back then could have fetched a 2 at least. I think they also have a/some pick/s with Portis.

Well I remembered that all wrong. It was Bailey and a 2nd for Portis.

To think only about 10 years ago HBs had huge value.
