If we give up the #32, we essentially traded Cooks for Butler and swapping picks (4th for 3rd). That's not ideal, but certainly more palatable than.....

#11 and Cooks for Butler, #32 and pick swap.

For the record, I felt the Saints got absolutely hosed on the Cooks trade.

shift my football allegiance to the Houston Texans when I live now.

Loomis is destroying this franchise. We need new leadership.

if we give then #32 for butler i'll be ok with it and that's exactly what I expect the deal to be all along. cooks for butler and we swap NE 3rd for our 4th round pick. that's not a bad deal

if we give then #11 for butler i'll be expecting this place to melt in epic proportions because that is a stupid deal and loomis should be fired if he does it

people need to accept that, unless something very surprising happens and the patriots just want him gone at any cost like the saints did with cooks, then it will take a first rounder to get butler from NE and I think we are the only team willing and have a first rounder #32 that we could trade.

I think in the cooks deal this was planned already and that #32 pick was a pawn ticket to be used to buy the rights to butler in a later deal

Depends on how the draft shakes out. If the top end prospects are gone at 11, sure I'd take Butler. If we give #32 for Butler, that's a w for us in my opinion as long as he's here long term.

Be happy the Saints have two legit CBs for the first time since Jabari Greer and Keenan Lewis

... Snap my fingers and say, "Welp, that's about par for the course for us." And then I'll probably make a sandwich, and watch Wheel.

Shift your allegiance? What kind of horse shite are they teaching people in Houston?

You'll never be able to get out baby. You may think you've changed with all your fancy Texans friends, but deep down, you're soul will be crying for those sweet sweet who dats...Unless you became a fan after 2005, in which case gtfo
