I think its apparent that CSP wants a plethora of athletic skilled TE's in his offensive plans for 2016.

Flenner Hoomanawanui and Hill are just that.

Will see how it plans out.

People freaking out seems to be step one

Hopefully he has matured since he got to the league. I remember making this thread his rookie year when we played Detroit in the playoffs.

Guy was a top pick rookie and his team hadnt been to the playoffs in forever.

I'm of the opinion that the coaches that see hill day in and day out probably know him better than I do

I like Doctson and Coleman more than Treadwell.

Would be fine with either of those two, but would prefer Rankins, Billings, or my boy Ogbah.

Have to go DE first round. We can get a good WR in the second or 3rd

I still think we should go DL first.

agreed. we need to build up front 7 and it starts with lineman. we need to stop the run and get a pass rush.

Yea Fairley is far from a fix at DT and DE is still a big need. We don't need WR who played in spread offenses at 12. Treadwell wouldn't be bad but you could probably trade back and get him.

I'm starting to doubt that Treadwell falls to 12, and I HIGHLY doubt saints could trade back and get him. The top WR has only fallen out of the top 5 once since the 2011 draft, and the only WR who did didn't fall out of top 10.

Why would you want to trade down? A top 10 guy is going to fall to 12. This isn't the draft I want to trade back in. What, we move back a few spots for an extra 5th rounder? Nah I'm good

Not only do I want to trade down once in the 1st I want to trade down twice

The top half of the second round is incredibly deep in quality WR's, safeties, guards and d-lineman.

we need a starting WR but we should be able to get that after the 1st round. we are not drafting a guard until 3rd round or later anyway. so top 2 picks can be Dt and DE or Dt and Wr or DE and WR. we will see.

Fastest, biggest, guy first.

Fairley will get snaps, but he's far from a fix.

If they sign Fairley my strategy would be picking high ceiling/upside guys in the 1st and 2nd rd. Guys like

Dodd
Kenny Clark
Michael Thomas
Whitehair
Butler

I like Michael Thomas at 47. He has all the tools to be a number 1 WR

But then I also want Su'a Cravens at 47. Saints should fall in love with him. On a D that NEEDS playmakers, he could be a stud for us.
