Assuming he's right and this happens, this puts us in perfect position to take the absolute best player on the board at 12, regardless of their position.

If true this entire offseason so far has been a very pleasant surprise.
Sean and Drew extensions pending completion
Fleener, Laurinaitis, Fairley, Robertson, Stupar as a FA haul
still have the entire draft process
maybe an Unger extension
along with 1 or 2 tier 3 FA's

CSP, Brees, and ML are openly letting the media know talks are ongoing and all sides are optimistic it can be done soon. I think it will be done before the draft hopefully a little sooner.

We have 273k in cap space.
So obviously something is happening soon regarding cap space.

If we get fairley on a nice 2-3 year deal, this offseason has been very special and have got grea value in a lot of these signings.
