Saints Defense is legit, the Saints offense really hadn't reached anywhere near its potential.Really high on the Saints going far this year in the playoffs, and it's because of the defense.

Saints are playoff bound material, you can take that to the bank.

It's understandable why so many people are hesitant but he's right. As I said in my preseason prediction 11-5/12-4 is this team's floor.

Let me guess, you were also predicting LSU to be in the College Football Playoff too, huh?

Calm down...right now we are all in cautiously optimistic mode right now. Let us enjoy that.

Gave no prediction for LSU, Tide breathe, but I'm comfortable predicting the Saints are bound for the playoffs.

Well forgive the rest of us if we aren't jumping on the playoff bandwagon just yet.

In my 35 years of being a Saints fan I don't ever believe we are making the playoffs until we clinch a spot.

The entire time I've watched Sean Payton since winning the SuperBowl, the only thing lacking was the Defense. It's arrived.

I'm not ready to proclaim playoff bound yet but I'm very excited the Saints are relevant again this year. There are some on here butt hurt because they would rather the Saints lose so they can get rid of Sean Payton, one of only 3 Super Bowl winning coaches in the NFC. So there's that too.

We are going to host the NFC Championship game because I already bought tickets to take my daughter to a concert in Atlanta on that day.

I thought Mora would be the first response. Good work.

That said, with Atlanta melting like the ice cream in Al Gore's airplane freezer when the help forgets to plug the plane into the hangar,

and a tiebreaker over Carolina, who is only a half game ahead

And Tampa Bay in the gutter where it belongs

And Aaron Rodgers out + decent streak in the schedule...

It ain't that crazy. But yes, we've seen The Saints blow similar opportunities harder than [insert Harvey Weinstein joke here], before.

We finish 10-6 as NFC South champs.
This year will have many 9-7 teams making the playoffs.

Remaining Schedule

@ GB- Likely W since Rodgers is out

Chicago- Likely W since Bears are Bears and at Dome

Bucs- at home, Bucs aren't progressing as we thought in weeks 1-2

@ Bills- Likely L

Redskins- W but sleeper for a L

@ Rams- Toss up

Panthers- W but not the beatdown we put on them in September

@ Failcons- I think L

Jets- W

Falcons- W cause at home and seeking strong finish to secure the NFC South

@ Bucs- L (resting starters after securing NFC South)

I think the Rams would be a tougher road game than the Bills (plus we seem to struggle on the west coast/3:00 games).

But both will be hard to win. Imo that's the hardest two games we have left now that Rodgers is out.

I'd be worried about the Skins too but being at home for that makes me think we'll have the edge.

Division games are still anything can happen type games so I won't say they'll be easy, but @Atl may be up there with the Rams and Bills, dependent on their psyche at the time (if they keep losing they may become broken beyond repair).
