Duece is horrible-IMO

Does he ever say anything the Henderson has not already said?
Does he realize he does not have to replay every down. Sometimes people can figure it out on their own. A 2 yard running play does not need to be analyzed. He is just bad. Take a breathe sometimes.

I think hes done very well. I think at times he gets ahead of himself and may things some people do not understand football wise, but for the most part I have enjoyed listening to him.

I think he's done a respectable job for it being his 1st year.

He filled in enough last year for this to be considered year 2. He and Henderson do not mesh well. His silence-fillers sometimes make me wish it were just static.

he says "Uhhhhh" a ridiculous amount, it bad enough to be distracting

We are talking NFL here. LSU lost their PBP guy and they had a search and found them a proven PBP guy.
Shouldn't the Saints have found a guy with some experience in radio? This is pro football now, not a HS operation.
And I'm not knocking Deuce here, he is doing the best he can, but come on man; can't you hire a real professional to do the color?

Only got to listen to Henderson once this year, and it was pretty bad.

His "uhhh"s are painful but that will dissipate somewhat with time and experience. I actually think his analysis is usually spot on. He still knows the team and FO well enough that he he says things every now and then that are very relevantly insightful. I like him overall more than not.

From the little I've heard of the Saints network this year Deuce drops in some really good insight at times during the game. Now, he doesn't sound great on the air yet but, not horrible. Still on a par with a typical ex player on a regional broadcast.
