Problem for Drew isn't his arm strength, it's decision making by himself and the staff, as well as receivers not getting any separation.

Drew is forcing too many throws, and Payton is calling too many pass plays. It's pretty clear that our RB group is more talented than the WR position. Colston is in steep decline, Stills missing the pre-season and much of camp has his chemistry off, Cooks is still adjusting, and Meachem has no business being on an NFL roster.

Our RBs on the other hand are killing it, and will continue to do so especially when Ingram gets back. If Payton wants to wow people coming out of the bye, he'll commit more to the run. He needs to face it, that is our strength right now. Too much of the work is being put on Brees's brain and Colston and Graham's slippery hands.

I do not know how anyone can watch the last 5 games and not conclude that Brees has lost a few yards on his arm. His accuracy is a tad off too.

Just the nature of the game. Look at Tom Brady.

Brees' deep ball accuracy is off.

Brees in general is fine, I believe he's at 68.8%. Before this game it was something around 71.4 or 72.4

Exactly. Draft a QB NOW. let him ride the bench and learn the offense.

I'm not saying Drew is not in decline, but I don't think anything has changed physically. His accuracy and timing are not good right now. He never had a huge arm anyway. I promise.

He's declining the same way Brady is: mentally. Both of those guys are making poor decisions and missing on their timing. Neither has lost much, if any arm strength.

Naw we need LBers/2nd CB/an Olineman before we even THINK about a QB.

Draft one in 2016 late.

2015 draft QB crop is trash.

When Devin Gardner is the #11 QB prospect it's a down year for the QB

As for drafting a QB, it can't actually be done NOW since the draft isn't until April, so you'll have to put up with Brees for at least the rest of the season. Sorry guys.

Joking aside, I think the team knows it needs a future at the position, and I would be shocked if they didn't take a guy like Sean Mannion in the early 2nd round. Saints love Oregon St. players, and Mannion is legit.

This is actually the deepest QB class in a few years if all of those guys declare. As a guy that follows the draft closely, I feel very confident in saying that.

We'll have to disagree a bit but fair.

We have a few other needs regardless.

Except he can't throw the ball over 50 yds without it being a duck...

Anybody who thinks we shouldn't be thinking about taking a good qb in the draft can't see the forest for the trees.

We should draft a defense before worrying about Brees. Defense wins championships

No, his arm strength is a problem. Unless you think badly underthrowing every pass over 25 yards is normal. So is decision making.
