Obviously you guys have never watched Byrd play besides when he plays the Saints. Kinda hilarious how oblivious you homers are... you just see the name/pro bowl and instantly make your impressions.

One of my best friends is a Bills fan so I've seen my share of games and you are off base. Just stop, man. The stats "back" him up. He also has a shitload more talent around him in Nola. He may have his best season ever here because of the system and players.

He's missed 22 tackles in his entire career. He's recorded 65 stops and 11 forced fumbles

For comparison, Jenkins missed 18 by himself last year and 20 by himself in 2012.

I see that he led the NFL in forcing turnovers, didn't miss tackles, and didn't give up many yards or TDs

I know you're just trolling, and I respect that, but PFF and virtually all statistical analysis says you are completely wrong.

Go look at the amount of missed tackles by Byrd v Jenkins/Harper. Go look at the amount of turnovers.

When I speak about man coverage... I'm talking about him sucking at covering tight ends. Gronk wrecks his shite when healthy and Byrd really isn't a great open field tackler although he has gotten better.

Byrd and Vaccaro are both top 5 tackling safeties by percentage. I haven't seen the stats on Bush, I'm sure he's around that.

Oh, but you have 'a friend' that's a Bills fan.
Ok. You're right. Excuse us for being homers and not looking at stats/analysis.

Byrd is going to look mean in his new pads.

No no no! Forget what the stats say. You are a homer. Byrd sucks and his back is going to explode on first contact. Loomis has doomed us for all eternity!

I think this is a Patty alter so that he can draw more attention to his threads and make them last longer.

That's more Chad's style. Remember blurr?

Anyway, let's make a thread on the help board. I'd like to find some answers.

Yeah, all we see are the names, stats, probowls, accolades, etc, etc, etc.

Just because a player is regarded as one of the best at his position, it doesn't mean he is good.

PFF ranked our roster, and had us with 3 elite players, with Byrd being one of them. The guy is probably only behind Earl Thomas at his position.
