I dont have a link. My good friend is head of alcohol sales in the dome. He is good friends with one of the conditioning coaches and this is coming from him.Think about it 1.We cut Thomas and Young. 2. If Smith and Grant are both out for 4 weeks together thats both ends. They are preparing for that too. Oh and by the way they are back in court trying to get their suspensions changed where they dont serve them together but one behind the other.

Which actually does NOT support your theory that they are moving Grant inside (despite what the beerman says).

Wow, I thought you were trying to be funny about the moving Grant thing. DE is a much more important position than DT, and we're pretty thin at DE (although Grant isn't HAHAHAHAHAHA SEE WHAT I DID THERE?!?!), so it would be pretty idiotic to move your starter to DT.

And the combo 4-3 and 3-4 defense has already been mentioned in articles before.

To me Smith and McCray at end and Ellis and Grant at tackle sounds good to me.

I hear ya...there's just animosity built towards
Grant for his lack of production lately...people looking for reasons to talk about canning him.

Its not hard to find good reasons.

His TOTAL production over the last 4 seasons would equal a good year for any other DE making his money

I'm not saying fat arse Grant can't or shouldn't make a move to DT, but Clancy did pretty damn good last year.

he's a cancer to this team

I understand he is in bad shape, not likely to be a productive player, etc etc but how does that make Grant a "cancer"?

If not being a productive player=cancer then Deuce was a cancer last year.
