I realize that..but do not think for a second his agent isnt in these host ear before he goes on the air telling these host what to ask.

No. Host aren't stupid. They know his contract and the bounty stuff is a big story surrounding him so they'll ask him about that.

The organization doesn't need to be made aware of his demands and getting a Leno audience on his side does nothing to give him leverage.

Public opinion carries a lot of weight, don't kid your self. Thats why one side always leaks some info. basic tactics

He already has public opinion locally and within the sports media which is all that matters. Winning over the 60 year old grandmas who watch Leno and will forget about that interview tomorrow morning helps none.

I have no sympathy for Drew as of now. If the offer is 18M/ year and he wants 23, then this is not something to spread throughout national media. I can't feel sorry for someone making 18M/ year to play a guaranteed 16 games a season with the risk of him getting injured.
I do believe he is worth being paid as the top 1-4 QB's in the league, but don't want to hear about their differences over a few million dolllars. Both sides have dirt on their faces during this contract negotiation and the sooner it is over the better.

If brees can go out there with a straight face and say he knew nothing of bountygate, its hard to believe anything he says. I personally would like to see payton give that palko guy the keys.
