QB- elite
RB- above average
OL- above average
TE- below average
WR- average (could be above)
DL- average
LB- average
CB- average/below average
S- average/below average

now that is my assertion based on last year and what they could do this year. Can they beat out the Panthers, Falcons, and Bucs this year?

Browner and Lewis are above average. The guys behind them are unproven so that would even it out to average but I don't think you can say below.

How are our OG's going to do? When we were really good Drew could step up into a nice little pocket as Nicks and Evans mauled people. Evans has looked terrible for two years and If Lelito was an average guard he would have been there last year because both our guards were a major weak spot and killed Drew. I hate to bring it up but that's why the Collins thing is puzzling to me, I would have talked Drew and as many players as it took to try to talk him into playing guard for the Saints. Along with Unger and Peat that would have been an incredible overhaul. He might still have left but I can't figure why we didn't try everything we could. Oh well, I sure don't know as much as SP, Loomis and Ireland so I feel confident they have a plan for our guards because our QB really needs them to play well. I think it could be a really good draft and as usual our UDFA class looks good too.

CB and Safety I'd put above average. The Saints have 2 pretty good corners. I think Vaccaro will rebound from his sophomore slump. He was awesome in his rookie year. Byrd was hurt almost all of last year. He didn't do too well before that but he was hurt all preseason and couldn't get any reps in.

LB could be solid if some draft picks step up. That May or may not happen. We'll see.

I really think Josh Hill could surprise some people. He has proven he can make plays with limited snaps. He has the size and athleticism and guess what? He can block.

S - above average

Byrd is an All-Pro
Vaccaro will rebound from last year
Depth at this position is great as well

Depends entirely on how they use him. He was playing too many traditional safety roles last year (even before Byrd's injury he played a lot of snaps in cover 2 type formations). The guy excelled as a rookie playing up in the box, especially in the nickel. That is how we have to use him otherwise he is going to play just like last year. He has never played deep safety - in HS or College. It will be a long transition if they continue to take that approach.

All about defensive execution. Sacks and turnovers. It's an odd year, so we're due.

I'm done with "on paper".

"on paper" was the phrase everyone used to explain why we would be superbowl champs

On paper there's no reason why we couldn't make a Super Bowl run. And I'm not just saying that.

Depends on Drew & the run game. All Drew 8-8. Balanced attack 11-5. Preaching to the choir though.

Dline is above average, guys like jenkins/hicks had a rough year due to inconsistency/injury. Those guys should bounce back and they added Spencer/Davidson/Richardson etc which will give them very solid depth.

CB has Lewis/Browner locked in at the 1/2. It will be a battle for #3. It's average at worst.

Saftey is above average, they're loaded there.

Id say our wr's are well below average. as a matter of fact I would say we are bottom 5 in the league until proven otherwise.

8-8 if lucky. But the Tigers should be better.

Think you overrated wr and underrated corner. I think we're anywhere from 7-9 to 10-6 depending on breaks.

Well, we were a potential Super Bowl team on paper at this time last year, so with that said...no, that paper hates us, we will be lucky to win a game.

One WR away ... I see Payton picking up a WR via trade at final cuts
