Anyone else catch Schefter this morning on Mike & Mike?

There was a discussion about QBs in this draft class and how the Browns are mulling Trubisky at #1 which could cause a run on QBs. Golic asked him what teams may look to trade up for a QB and Schefter mentioned the Saints.
Golic acted shock and said "the Saints have Brees so why would they make this trade for a QB?"
Schefter didn't really have an answer, but him saying the Saints made me nervous some frickery could go down on Draft Day.

It is in the Saints best interest to have QBs go before 11. Floating a story about being interested in a QB is simply an attempt to raise the value of the QBs in this draft.

looking at our situation with binoculars from a distance:
1) we have an aging qb on last year of deal
2) we're close at 11 but maybe not close enough for who we're targetting
3) we do have draft ammo with 2 1's
aside from all of that... yeah,... hopefully not happening. Drew starting this and another possible 3 years is more ideal.

Schefter is a hack. He is just making shite up as he always does. I seriously doubt the Saints will pick a QB at all let alone in the first round of the draft.

I would probably lose my shite. If there's a run on QBs and really good defensive players fall, and we take a QB instead....I would melt...hard

Best case scenario is Browns take Garrett at one. Then two teams take qb's before pick 11. Teams knowing the Browns may select a qb at 12 other teams might want to trade up with us to grab a qb. If a team sitting in the teens really like Mahomes then this would be ideal.
