whats the site?

Ranks Past Mocks

It's a decent site that scores all 1st round mocks. You get one point for correctly having a player in the first round and a second point if you pick the correct team he goes to. Also, only people with 5 years of submitted mocks can be ranked so quite a few people aren't ranked but you can see how they did last year.

I don't have much to say against Kiper. The dude has worked his absolute arse off and has an incredible encyclopedic memory. McShay, however, is the most pathetic example of an empty suit of all-time. I literally think he couldn't walk and chew gum at the same time. It's no coincidence to me that Mel's draft scores have gone down every single year since they started pumping McShay more and more.

Just now starting to watch this show of theirs, wow this is bad.

I wish Polian and Riddick weren't so damn polite in their comments. They seemed to disagree with every single pick but were super nice and political about it. You know they were laughing at the nonsense picks.

Did they really just have the Giants take Gurley?!?! The team loaded with RBs and no OL to speak with Scherff on the board????

You really can't make this stuff up lol.

Todd is probably really fighting to come up with some excuse to put Gurley number 1. Personally, I don't see what makes him so much better than Gordon. Watching both play, Gordon's burst and explosiveness is on a whole other level above Gurley.

i guess it just comes down to a team's preference. Gurley is more of a power runner like Marshawn Lynch and Gordon is more a shifty back like Jammal Charles.

Gordon has a wicked jump cut.

pass blocking is big too. I'd assume Gurley gets the nod there?

I may be alone here, but I much prefer McShay to Kiper. Kiper may study like crazy and he's been doing draft analysis for ages, but he is so hard to listen to.

This is true but he wasn't always as respected or well liked as he is now. He was actually despised by most front offices & viewed to be a joke in his early days.

Who the hell is Mel Kiper?!

Tobin continues to rip Kiper

Yet these are the two tools ESPN constantly parades on TV during the lead up to the draft. I'm sure if you do enough mock drafts, you are eventually going to predict the actual choices. Maybe ESPN has stock in major hair spray companies, and Mel is their spokesperson?
