True, but I don't know if the rosters have been this slanted in a while. They spent their off-season trying to rebuild their depth, and we spent the off-season adding to ours. WR is the only place were they are comparable. Everything else is no contest. Are you ready?

they never had any. They had good players and were really just unbelievably healthy. I know they had a lot of issues but when your #1 receiver is the difference between 4 wins and 12 wins...

and if they've been rebuilding their depth it doesn't show.

they had some tough breaks but looked like the same team. Julio goes down, they look like complete crap

They've got a nice corner, a decent safety. They spent money on two guys that have little to no pass rush value. That's really it for their defense. That's not going to slow down Jimmy, Cooks, Colton, Morgan etc.

I really hope we consider using him in a few Harvin like plays.

meh

I really hope that Cooks is used in the normal passing game. That's where he will be most dangerous.

Yeah, I don't know what he's talking about.

Sure he took some handoffs, and ran a couple of bubble screens, but he was running crossers too.

come on guys, that is clearly what he meant. a couple of handoffs, using him all over the field and using him in a variety of ways

harvin was not used in a traditional way last night even without the jet sweeps...I could look to the same spot and see seattle's other receivers but I'd always have to look for harvin

BTW, harvin is dangerous in those bunch formations...seattle's offense looks good

They ran one these at mini camp. After practice, Galette was quoted as saying he never saw Cooks take the hand off until he was already in the endzone.

Cooks didn't do a whole lot in preseason, and that may have been by design. I didn't see him lined up in multiple positions, going in motion, coming around for the fake reverse on running downs or the fake jet sweep. He was pretty much lined up and then went out, normal WR stuff.

I think when the season starts on Sunday, he's going to be moved around a LOT and in motion a lot.

Cooks is a legit #1 WR and I hope we don't waste his time here as some gadget

It seems that you already have the aspect of wasting time with gadgets covered.

Its not a "gadget" to move a guy all over the field, put him in motion, get him space, in order to maximize his talents and get favorable matchups.
