After 8 years, finally in that number

Got the call a few days ago for a pair of club tickets but 4k sounded too rich for right now.. called back and got a single ticket today. Can't tell you how much I regretted not getting them in 06. Still super excited even though it's a single seat

I just got a call with the same offer. I'm going to turn it down though and hope more affordable seats open up next year. Ill be working 6 days a week during the season so I wouldn't be able to go to many.

I got a call too. Not paying for those insane club seats though especially since I don't live there anymore. Been on the list since 08

Must be a lot of long timers canceling after the 5-9 seasons.

For you guys to be getting calls for club level seats, it means there is no more secondary market for selling the spots... and they are just being given up.
I got $5k a seat for mine year after the SB...
Goodness. Do they call people with uppers first to offer them the chance to move down? Or do they go straight to the waiting list?

My father in law is out after 45 years of being a season ticket holder, but it isn't because of 5-9 seasons

The way I understand it works is this.
As a season ticket holder we were given a date of March 10th in which we had to place our order for next season. In doing so we have the option of Paying in Full or 50% now and 50% by June.
So by March 11th the Saints Front Office knows which seats are unsold for the 2017 season. At that point the FO then sets up times in which current season ticket holders are able to purchase those remaining seats. This is based on priority...Long time ticket holders get first refusal.
After this process has been exhausted and yes there are never any pairs available in the Terrace Level by the time I even get to look. The remaining seats are offered to people on the waitlist list in priority order.
I would like to tell you that next year you will end up with seats in the 600s at $500+ per ticket, but that is not a likely reality unless you know a current season ticket hold that would make the purchase for you when they became available. With the nature of how this operates I would grab two tickets if I could.
I live out of town and typically make 3-4 games a year plus playoffs (God Willing). I have never had an issue making back what I paid for the tickets especially when there is a high profile opponent on the schedule like Pittsburgh, New England or Dallas.

this will be my first year without tickets since 1999
I won't be in the states for the next few football seasons so figured I'd let someone else have my fun.

Nope. there were a handful in the 300s when I got the call and they were flying off the shelf as quick as she could tell me which seats were available. I understand it's likely only club level ($2k) and up available at this point in singles

I finally got the call too, less than two weeks before I ship out to overseas for a year. Still managed my to talk my wife into getting two tickets. I was afraid it would be another 8 years on the waiting list.

I got a call today too. I'm in Hawaii right now so they called me at 4 AM. Called back and they were all sold out. Been on the waitlist since 2008 I think.

I live in Hawaii as well. I finally got the call on Wed after years on the list. They also emailed me. Club level and singles in the terrace. I will wait. I got some club a couple seasons ago and we just changed them to $500 terrace tickets for now and hoping to one day score the 500 section haha
