Let me ask you Fox - did you spend 30 or 40 hours last week looking at Eagles/Saints film tape before you decided what plays the Saints needed to run, or did you just know instinctively what to do?

He probably watched games from 2009-2011 and realized the Saints are a better team when they effectively run the ball. You don't have to be an NFL head coach to come to that conclusion

I didn't even need to quote anybody to be honest, they are coming out in defense with full force.

I want the season to extend beyond next week to further delay bluesdetillier's daily free agent, cap situation and draft analysis threads

I've been following sean payton since he was an assistant in NY. This isn't the first time he has had this issue, not even the first time with the saints

The only coach completely above reproach is BB.

Why don't you check out the results when jim fassel took over his playcalling duties in NY. Payton goes through ruts where he gets in his own head. This happene early in 07 and off and on in 08 and it's rearing it's head again. If you can't see the failed strategy behind 3 straight passes (which by the way I think a disproportionate amount of our drive killing holding plays come on passing plays) when you're running the ball at will then you really are clueless

Nice thread, but shouldn't it be Talktard instead of Rantard.

Pretty good thread for a Monday. Now that a day has passed since the Saints win, we can go back to doing what we do best around here...

I started to comment regarding the "Drew's washed up" comments, but decided against it. If they don't get it and appreciate the guy by now, they never will.

This thread is an absolute jinx too. Talk about taking a bow early. The saints advanced to the divisional round where we'll play in the toughest road environment against the best team.

Then if we pull off the upset it's on to San Fran or Carolina...please be Carolina.

THEN

We'd get to play in the Super Bowl in freezing conditions.

I'm happy we won a wild card game, but it's still a wildcard game.

No one doesn't appreciate how good drew is. He's getting up there. And his contract has been a burden on the team for the past two seasons.

saints don't need to win saturday to prove anything. this thread is nothing of a jinx of sorts.

You're a rantard in the closet. You had many borderline posts but were too much of a pussy to come out all the way.

Fact: Drew Brees won a super bowl away from home. Shut the frick up now.

I love reading your posts.

I still dont understand how people cant see that our WRs have trouble getting open. Even at home you can see it. It's not really Brees. It gets magnified on the road, and even more, outdoors.

Brees has had to over compensate.

Yea, i agree there are times he has thrown the ball right to the defender. But he did that even when he was "elite".

I can only guess at what type of people some posters might be, but I love when the bona fide loser follows me around on a message board to call me "stupid"

Installation almost complete. I'd love to stay and argue but the numbers speak for themselves regarding

Payton's lack of commitment to the running game
Drew brees' recent performances on the road

Yay, fox mulder is so wrong because we won in the final seconds of the wildcard round there were no issues whatsoever
