Kaepernick, Cam Newton, anyone else?

With the steps he got?

Most would have completed it

It's one thing if he had to throw that into a tight window but Crabtree was 15-20 yds behind our DBs.

There is no one that can hold coverage for that amount of time. It boils down to getting pressure on the QB. At least force him to make a off balance throw. He had all day to survey the field and was able to plant his feet. I dont know why we did not blitz him on that play. I rather see him under a little pressure and be forced to make a throw with someone in his face, then sit back there all day and wait for one of our DB's to lose a WR.

Tight coverage but you can easily not let somebody get 15 yards behind you.

We are a terrible defense when we blitz actually.

A big part of the defensive turnaround is that we are blitzing a lot less

Just like the blown coverage at the end of the Cleveland game that lost it for us.

Biggest single player loss of any team in the NFL this past off-season iMO.

Byrd doesn't make that mistake by letting someone get behind him (safety), true or false.

True because he's already 50 yards off the ball pre snap. It's a punt for him
