We haven't had a good Fred Thomas argument in a while, those were always the best.
At least Thomas looked better than Jason David. Yeah the blame is still mostly on Bullocks but David was younger and faster than Freddy so he shouldn't have played worse.
By the way, if we're going worst saints starters, this is my nomination for Bullocks somewhere in the top 5.

by the way, you can't help but notice some horrible play at safety in there as well.

I've taken up for David A few times on here because of that. Zone corner asked to play man with zero safety help. Going to be a disaster. Dude could actually make some really nice plays on the ball when the scheme mat he'd his strengths.

I agree. I remember that whole defense making Rex grossman look like Peyton manning in the NFC championship game.

Fred Thomas doesn't deserve half the shite he gets by Saints fans. Any true fan would know he was a good CB until he got hurt and it wasn't his fault that guys like Alex Molden, Ambrose & Keyo Craver sucked and we never got anyone decent until Mike McKenzie. He played for the Saints for 8 years. Had 75 starts, 5 sacks, 13 interceptions and 379 tackles. His last few years were bad, but its the front offices fault for not bringing in anyone better.

Fred Thomas had an All Pro caliber season, so he can not be on the top five worst starter list.

I couldn't think of many 80's guys. The 90's was more my prime of growing up with the saints. Those 5 were the ones that stuck out most.
