The first hour of The Sports Hangover is Gus and Trosclair doing that. Like that time last season when Gus accidentally said Paris Hilton instead of Haralson and they played that soundbite every 15 minutes for the rest of the season. Hopefully they leave the Rebecca Black "Friday" and Goose Cantrell giggles behind too.

Turned it on and "End of the world" was playing. So not only is it gone, but I now have that fricking song in my head!

gus seems like he knows less about sports than almost anyone i talk to who pays any attention to sports. the show is just so minor league from production to content.

gio and jones at least make me laugh from time to time and have on decent guests.

The best way to listen to the Dan Patrick Show is the recorded version through the Podcast and then you can zip through commercials.

Gus works best with a co-host. After Larry left it went downhill. To be fair it's hard to host a show by yourself.

I agree. Larry brought knowledge and credibility to that show. After he left the guests also dried up.

Thought it was weird that's all I was hearing this AM. I enjoyed Gio and Jones in the AM.

Idk how you can hate Gus but like Gio and Jones.
The Hangover made a mistake when they hired that clown of a caller - Brian in NOEast to do the show. He was painful to listen to and his shtick was annoying.

And what made it worse was he genuinely thought he was clever and funny. Then Gus would just yell dumb shite over him. I stopped listening a while back.

Not the biggest fan of Scott Alexander who is on at the same time but I guess I can deal.

I liked him, he was the one that always "acted" like a Falcons fan, right?

In that case, he was my favorite, even though it was all a façade.

What?! You didn't like hearing about YOUR Atlanta Falcons?! I know I did. Highlight of the show for me.

I hated Gio and JOnes in the morning but listened on the way to work (until I can't stand it any longer and shut off the radio) as it was the only sports thing on. They were like fingernails scrappin on a blackboard early in the morning, two annoying laughing hyenas. Listened to Gus Gatengil on the way home from work and his crew weren't much better but were less annoying and were more local sports and included some off the wall stuff like soccer and UFC occasionally. NOw have to listen to 870 crap (tommy tucker douchbag)or 99.5 (political) in the morning and Hannity the idiot on the way home. Sucks, no sports radio in New Orleans radio at the times I'm driving to and from work. No local sports talk shows ever survive in New Orleans area other than the usual 870AM late evening slot.
