You think you know what AD will become in time.

We all know what a healthy Dwight Howard is.

Knowing that, taking the proven top 5 player in the league is probably the better bet, and I'd be willing to say even for only 1 year.

There is a greater chance IMO that Davis is a never more than a marginally good player than there is that he ever is a player of the caliber of Dwight Howard. Clearly some of you disagree with that. That's fine.

How many yeas would you need? I don't think its a no-brainer at only 1 year by any stretch of the imagination, but I think I'd still do it. Would 2 years be enough? 3? Saying you'd have to have any more than that is saying you are completely confident that AD will be at least an equal player in the league to dwight, and quickly.
