Why the hate for the hornets

A lot of Louisiana people hate the hornets. I was just hassled on the tiger rant for my hornets avitar, which I might add is awesome. Why the anti-support?

Most of "those" NBA fans are fans of a player, like Kobe or Lebron.

Yeah i don't understand it either. I understand if your from Louisiana and aren't exactly a fan of the hornets because you had a different favorite NBA before they moved here. But to hate the hornets is pointless.

Because Louisiana is a football state. The Saints and LSU football will always come before the Hornets and LSU basketball.

The NBA generally sucks and their players are aholes, it is nothing personal against the Hornets. Only NBA team i watch are Hornets and Celtics because of Shaq, Bib baby and it down the road from my house. Never watch anything else

I believe there's more ppl who are just indifferent b/c they're just not into basketball or the NBA than those that hate the team.
What sucks is those that have come to sdopt this team and a chance they could move depending on who the new ownwer will be.

"amazing how LSU would be a perfect fit for _______." insert any random thing into the blank. This player/coach/play/formation is always a perfect fit for LSU.

That's adolescent??? hah, seriously doubt it and certainly not as adolescent as some keyboard tough guy saying he wants to punch people who like college hoops better than the NBA in the face. Also, dont forget if you took a poll of all the members on this board i would bet dollars to donuts the vast majority prefer the better product as far as entertainment goes, NCAA basketball.
