Probably. He was always acting like a massive douche when I would see him on campus, so that doesn't surprise me.

probably because you were a UCLA fan on Duke's campus

"Hey lets all give up on a 21 year old!"
^That's what i'm hearing and it's some of the most ignorant shite I've ever heard.

Dell invested in Rivers with a lottery pick, and you want to know the thing about investments? They are usually for the long term. Rivers came into the NBA too soon; and because of it he was shite last year, get over it. He should have stayed another year at Duke; plus the only reason he was thrown to the wolves were the injuries to Gordon et al.

1) It's three games into the goddamn season
2) Holiday, Gordon, Evans, Roberts are all healthy
3) You may think Roberts shouldn't get minutes? However, he can score easily/quickly and one thing NBA teams need on the second unit is scoring
4) Rivers is defensively better than Roberts and is all around more complete, but defense has less place on the second unit than offense. Also, if you really think Rivers is a natural PG you're wrong. Further Tyreke vultured his second unit spot and I don't think anybody here is inclined to say they would rather the $40 million man not play.

In conclusion, Rivers is a valuable piece to have because from what I interpreted out of Pelicans camp is that he got a lot better this past summer. Is he better than Tyreke? No. So will he play? No. But when it comes time for him to step up, he will.

Shaq had a better rookie free throw shooting season. Let that sink in.

He's making a "career" off of 1) his father 2) high school hype and 3) a single game winner IN COLLEGE

This is exactly it. He hasn't progressed much as a player and doesn't seem to have the potential
