I do not think Austin Rivers has played one minute this season. Why the hell is he on the team?

I hated him at Duke, I hated him last year, and I hate him this year.

Probably. He was always acting like a massive douche when I would see him on campus, so that doesn't surprise me.

Wasn't just Fletcher, plenty on here wanted him especially after he hit that shot against UNC.

I didn't want him. I was praying for Toronto to pick him at 8 because I knew he wasn't getting past 10.

You seem illiterate.

He's inefficient. He can't shoot. He's making a "career" off of 1) his father 2) high school hype and 3) a single game winner IN COLLEGE

Not a resume to write home about.

Plus he's a douche.

any trade value there at all? Still early. He could develop into a good role player down the line. Would rather some other team spend the time trying to develop him though. Maybe a team that is not really trying to win this season and is playing for the lottery pick and for the future, like the Celtics or 76ers.I just don't see a role for him on this team

I agree with most of what you said before this but do you have a reason to think this? Seems like a good kid to me

What sucks is that there was really no one else that we could have taken at 10 last year that would really make more of an impact than Rivers has.

After Drummond was taken at 9, the talent level fell off a cliff.

I guess Meyers Leonard would have been a better pick, but even then it's a stretch.

They're going to need him for the bench when they trade Gordon.

I doubt anyone here knows him personally and from what we do know he is, by all accounts, a fairly nice guy and hard worker.

I went to Duke. I'll admit that I never had extensive conversations with him, but whenever I'd see him around campus he carried himself with a sense of entitlement and was rude to other students.

Maybe him being a douche is a premature conclusion, but it sure looked that way

Kyrie, on the other hand, was 10/10
