a.) it will always start with Anthony Davis. He will always make New Orleans an attractive place to place for FAs

b.) we have a hole at SF and he could give this team what we need to become a top 4 team in the West

c.) his younger sister goes to LSU and will give him the opportunity to play closer to her

d.) Hypothetical: D is more of just a hypo; let's say that we hire Thibs. Carroll is the type of player that will absolutely thrive under Thibs

The big issue obviously is our cap space. However, I believe that Dell plans to move Rhyno and/or Tyreke this offeseason. I think it's very doubtful that both of them are on this team next year. Thoughts?

I don't know if we'll have the money for him this year unless we make some moves, in which case I'd be all for it. I think he's a great fit for us

So my point here is that Monty knows what he is doing and firing him would be stupid. Fire him for what? So we can hire another coach to implement his own system and have our young players start over? Cmon. Some, well actually all of you wanted him fired before the all star break. How stupid is that? We would have sucked even more and again, our players would have to learn another system at the midpoint of the season. That's incredibly stupid.

Monty will make this team a winner and wallowint and I will be here to say we told you so. /EndRant

20pt collapse
11 offensive rebounds given up in 1 quarter
refusing to sub in your starting center

If it means we get rid of Anderson im down, even though I rather spend more money on Draymond.

If either players decide to test the FA Market

Feels like he's playing himself out of the MLE and into a bigger contract with his postseason play.

Yep. Live in Atlanta and word is that he's leaving the Hawks. Some team like the Knicks will throw serious money at him. Don't think the Pels have the space to pay him serious money and field a competitive roster

and they shouldn't. Reminds me of a peaking Ariza who gets paid and falls short of expectations the following year.

exactly.... Ariza is/was fool's gold... he needs A LOT of star power around him to be able to be effective... Harden and Howard give him that.... defenses worry about them, so he can get open easier, which he does.... but if he doesn't have guys to take the defense pressure off him, he fricking sucks... he can't create... has terrible court vision, and is streaky as frick....

Would rather keep Tyreke.

If we were to acquire Carrol, move reke to the 2 and rid of Gordon.

I've had my eye on Carroll since last season. He's exactly what we need at the 3 spot. Great defender, can rebound and pass, efficient scorer who doesn't need the ball a lot, tough, hard working, etc. He's 1 of the most underrated players in the NBA and is without a doubt the "unsung hero" for the Hawks and is the glue to that team IMO.

He brought his game to a new level this year and has taken it even a step fuehrer this postseason. He's made himself a lot of $$$ this year and he deserves a good pay day. I don't know if we will be able to compete with other teams financially, but I would love to have him on this team. Great fit.

And I had no idea his sister went to LSU... Pretty interesting.
