of course you do, but then again you actually believe Harden is on his way to the HOF this early in his career.

Sounds just as delusional as those who think AD is on his way to the HOF too.

Mitch Richmond is in the NBA HOF.

Do me a favor and find me a player who finished 1st or 2nd in the MVP who isn't in the HOF or heading there.

Then find me a player who was 1st team all nba 2 years running who isn't heading for the hall of fame.

Don't even bother looking up players from the 60s because it's irrelevant to the NBA today.

I think at this time we should all congratulate Pels talk for this thread not degenerating into a Lebron bitchfest for almost three pages now. That's gotta be a fricking record.

.........

Ok, carry on.

and Mitch Richmond had a 10-11 year stretch putting up 23/4/4, Harden is at 20/4/4 for 6 years. Derrick Rose is going to the HOF too right? He's at 20/4/6 and he's got a MVP!

Most of the 80s was Bird, Johnson, and MJ.
Most of the 90s were MJ, Malone, etc.
Most of the 00s were Duncan, Garnett, Shaq, and LeBron
So you won't find one I'm 99.9% sure, but they had extended periods of time as a top 5 player, not just 3 years.

Rose will be one who won't make it though.

Easy, Penny fricking Hardaway.

so when AD is on the 1st team all-nba again next year, I should crown him HOF lock right?

Oh so unless his career is derailed by injuries (rose and hardaway) he has a 99.9% chance. I think you are making my points FOR me.

He'll be closer than he is now. LOCK? No I can't go that far. He hasn't finished as high in the MVP as Harden OR lead his team to as much regular season OR post season success as Harden has.

my point exactly. shite happens, non-pel fans call AD HOF-caliber and people shite on it, but his and Harden's career are still relatively new.

I wouldn't talk HOF til at least 6-7 years. Hell, even T-Mac and Carter may not even make it and they had 8-9 years of awesome basketball.

to me, stone cold locks. Other people do think differently. the HOF isn't the hardest to get into, but those two had a long stretch of quality play.

Anthony Davis is better than Harden and I think he will prove it this year.

Harden isn't better than curry or AD. Boom is just a troll that knows nothing. Having harden listed in the top 5 is laughable..
