He is a decent player and the board likes anything not named Jimmer. He can do some good things though he is overvalued at this point.

i don't care if he can't shoot for shite what he brings on the court doesn't show up on the stat sheets

Yeh, he had Lebron on his team. The sample size clearly shows that to be a massive factor.

BC Cole is a great addition to this team. Will he be cp3 or rubio? Hell no. But he can be a damn good serviceable point guard for this team

I AGREE!!! Seriously, are y'all reading my post??? There are reasons to be excited about him, but when people start talking complete bullshite(him being a good shooter) it ruins the credibility. That's why people like Boom make fun of us for being homers. Because we say objectively stupid shite. Like claiming a dude is actually a good shooter as evidenced by a 42/27/66 7 game stretch. Lets just call a spade a spade. On defense, he is undersized but very good against the pick and roll. On offense, he is a terrible shooter and not particularly competent with the ball. Still probably better than what we had as backup without Jrue.
Boom is a complete troll. But we are somewhat easy targets. We are very guilty of Lake Wobegoning.

EXACTLY! He had a superstar on his team, he did better when he had a superstar on his team. When he didn't he was asked to be more than what he was, a backup pg, and he did worse. Who does he have on his team now? And what is his role on this team?

42% from a guard like him wont kill you. He shot that in his 2nd & 3rd seasons with Miami, so it's not out of the question that he keeps it up.
It's not like he's Rubio, who shoots 36% on his career.
His main contribution is being able to handle & defend the ball. He's not great, but he is clearly a bench upgrade for us, and has proven to be good enough to have a role on 2 championship teams

I never said the guy is an all world shooter or something. He has a pretty nice shot based on what I've observed,maybe he's picking his shots better.
Also your numbers are a bit off,He's shooting right at 44% as a pel.

I'm claiming this and I stand by it and have explained it. It has nothing to do with me thinking he's better than he is. There's nothing wrong with throwing a reality check at the board, we do get out of hand at times, but I think in this instance it's much ado about nothing. It's not like anyone has suggested benching Tyreke and starting Cole, although now that I think about it...
