You are finding crap to worry about right now with no statistical evidence to back it up other than Jimmer's off shooting night. Calm down please.

I'm perfectly calm and I never mentioned anything about Jimmer's bad night. You seem confused.

I'm sorry. We must have attended different games. I really have no vested interest in Jimmer, but his defense was better than expected and he showed that he's a smart player. Give him time.

I was pretty happy with his showing. His shot didn't really fall, but he did somenother good things. He had possibly the prettiest assist of the game

"Didn't really fall" to the tune of 0-6

Lets be honest, he was brought in to knock down the 3 ball. He missed 3 wide open looks. Chalk it up to first game jitters with a new team. You can tell when he came out the game for good he wasn't happy with his effort. I'm not saying he's a lost cause, he just didn't deliver tonight.

Posted by Broski quote: No one in the "Core 9" came close to posting a negative +/- tonight. The -6 at the end of the game with the scrubs skews that a little bit if you look. We played the Magic. quote: Our bench is fine. Our rotation is fine There is a fricking chasm between Ryno and the rest of our bench, we need someone else.

I disagree. The versatility of our core 6 guys allows us to limit their mins w/o having to put an inferior player on the floor.

Jrue, Reke, EG can play both guard spots

AD and Ryno can play PF and C

Reke and Ryno can play the SF

Also when AD and Asik are in the game we could properly protect the rim with a 3 guard lineup.

Imo, 35 mpg is not over playing a quality player. I am pretty sure that is right around the ideal amount of time per game.

Im not gonna judge Jimmer on how he shoots. I know he can shoot. Yeah he missed a bunch. But i thought his assists and defense were better than expected.

I have to say I agree. I was pleasantly surprised. As far as shooting, I think he was hesitant and passed up a couple of opportunities.

I agree, I thought his defense actually looked better than Rivers'. We know he can shoot, it's just a matter of time before his shot starts falling. I didn't even mind Salmons last night, yes he was bad, but he at least fouled rather than giving up easy layups. No one who was on the floor last night made me feel like I felt when Roberts or Steimsma were on the court last season

I was and still am scared by the Rivers, Jimmer, Salmons perimeter trio.

But overall, I thought Monty did a nice job with the rotations.

1. We should always have one of our better players on the court with second unit guys. No team really clears the bench for a rotation.

2. I think people have expectations that are unrealistic as far as bench depth. The best teams don't have a huge rotation of 10 players a game.

The Spurs are probably one of the deepest teams and it is because they have a bunch of old stars taking pay cuts to get young guys paid. They also have a wining culture that attracts veterans on the cheap. Outside of the Spurs many teams are really any deeper IMO.

U should be but it shouldnt happen when Jrue, EG, & Reke are healthy. It should rarely happen when 2 of the 3 are healthy

If there is one thing he can do, its shoot. The whole team didn't shoot particularly well last night. I'll give that some time.

But yeah, this team needs a legit 7th option bad. Backup SF has to be a top priority. Hopefully Dell can find another Bellinelli.

Marcus Thornton would be great in that role if he and Monty can find a way to co-exist.

INaw... I'd prefer a backup 3 over another guard.

Best case scenario, but there are not a lot of those guys around. Thornton can flat out fill it up when he is healthy and gets on a roll.
