Too Dysfunctional there, arguing and pointing fingers. I know he wants a big market, but just for fun because I can, How awesome would a big 3 of AD, KD, and Buddy Hield be?!?!

The only way I see KD ever coming here is if we get okafor or if he's close with Buddy hield. Having a solid core in Davis Okafor Holiday may be enticing to a guy like KD. Also he may be close with gentry. Seems like a ton of players respect him.

No. No he won't. He'll re-sign a 2yr deal with a 1yr option!

He's going to resign short term in OKC. Now whether they keep the rest of their team is a bigger question. Robertson, Dion, Adams, and Kanter could all be moved around. I see them keeping Robertson and resigning Adams but Dion is a free lancer and KD doesn't seem to like him too much and Kanter does not play good enough defense for how much they pay him. So there is some volatility over there.

I think he signs a two year max with option after year 1 in OKC after discussing 2017 offseason with other teams. OKC will have one last shot to retool and get a championship. They really need a SG who can play adequate defense and knock down an open 3.

2017 offseason will be interesting if Lebron loses this year and next. Tons of big free agents...CP3, Russ, KD, Lebron, Griffin, Hawyard...etc. As much as I hate it, if LAL can get to the floor this year with a bunch of expirings and 1 year deals, they could have as little as $25M committed in 2017 with an ostensibly talented roster (Ingram, Russel, Randle, Nance, Clarkson). Without any big signings, they could also very well end up with another top 3 pick, and would be set up perfectly with space and assets for a super team to form.

KD will sign a 1 and 1 with OKC.

Even if you are correct and he is ready to leave, he is not an idiot.

goes against everything we know about KD. he is a quiet guy and does NOT covet the big market.

That may be the case, but it is rumored his Nike deal has escalators in it for moving to a large market team. I also think LA will have the space and assets to create a super team in 2017. If the Warriors win this year and next year, there will be incentive to form a team to beat them. LA could have room for 3 max contracts to go along with 4 top 5 selections still on rookie contracts. I am not sure how many teams will be able to offer the chance to form a superteam that LA will be able to offer.

as i said earlier.... he is not stupid. If he would make up the difference in the contract value, he certainly might more if the NIKE deal has that type of kicker.

The role the shoe industry plays in the NBA is crazy. Woj has had guests on his podcast talking about this stuff and one example is that if DeRozan leaves Toronto it may well be for the Lakers because of shoe money.

Supposedly KD and Russ argue on the bench fairly often. I've spoken to someone who sits courtside at Pels games and he's said that he's personally heard it on several occasions.

According to what we saw on Canal Street Saturday morning, NOLA should be a hot bed of free agent activity.
