So by the time AD is 24 and he has his NBA championship trophy he'll be better, got it.

Oh, there is a little something to be said about him being the leader of the FIBA World Cup gold medal team this year.

This is just BS. They aren't unprecedented. Have you ever seen Olajuwon's career? Check out the 89-90 season. How about this stat line (LINK )..

24 ppg, 14rpg, 4.6bpg, 2.9apg, 2.1spg

He did that almost every season and only won the MVP once (94). It's like that for a bunch of the great Centers. I could cherry pick numbers all day. But nothing is going to convince you..

The one he only shot 50% and turned the ball over 4 times per game? Yeh, thats not as good as AD's year so far. Will AD be able to keep it up? Maybe not. But his PER is unprecedented. Theres no point arguing. It just isn't. One thing would convince me and thats posting a higher PER. I won't be waiting on you though.

Have people had years that were different and equally impressive? Absolutely. Has anyone been this efficient with this kind of PER? Nowhere close. There is no precedent.

AD will have more championships than D12 when his career is over. Which isn't saying much since he'll only need one to accomplish that feat.

"Leading" is a phrase that means absolutely nothing.

He was on the team.

Btw AD's 3rd year so far blows the Dreams out of the water.

Does it?

Davis- 26.3ppg, 11.4rpg, 3.5bpg, 1.8apg, 2.17spg (12 games)
Olajuwon (3rd season)- 23.4ppg, 11.4rpg, 3.4bpg, 2.9apg, 1.9spg (75 games)

You want to take a bet over whether Davis will end up with much better numbers this season? Btw, the Rockets were the 6th seed in the West that year and Olajuwon ended up 7th in voting.

Did they not track turnovers and shooting percentage that year? Or you just decided to leave those out?

His PER is 36. Dreams highest was 27. The highest by any player for a whole year is 31.

Confidently left off turnovers, shot percentages and PER. Yea, he blows him out of the water. Oh, and the Pelicans will be in the playoffs and he'll finish higher than 7th. And no those numbers won't be the same, his PPG will be higher.

Yes Dwight effect is proven just by having Howard on your team you are almost guaranteed to have a top defense. Last I checked the Pels were a bit below average as a team defense despite having 4 starters that are considered good defenders by the fanbase. Davis has a ways to go before he can claim to make his teammates better on defense as much as D12 does. The numbers prove it.

Not sure if homer or homo for Dwit

Dwight's team beating them 4 games to none this season will have an impact on playoffs. I doubt the pels miss by more than 4 games. Likely they will miss the playoffs by 2-3 games IMO.

Of course they did. You could have just looked, but I'll keep typing it all out. Davis is averaging 58%, Olajuwon 51%. Davis 1.3 topg, Olajuwon was 3.0topg. Davis barely ever handles the ball though (witness his low apg numbers), so that's why his efficiency is so high.

You are going to be first person to ever elect a MVP based solely off of PER. It is a made up combination of stats. It speaks of nothing as to how the player elevates the team or the impact that player has. But like I said, I can't convince you otherwise..

So Dream only had better APG numbers... Seems clear who has the better numbers.

Apparently, in your case, it's only for providing favorable opinions. Otherwise you choose not to answer.
