Sixers could be looking for a veteran help. Simmons and Ingram seem to play a simalar style to saric. Does anyone think that pels would be giving up too much if they gave up tyreke and #6 to get saric and maybe another late draft pick in the first?

So give up Tyreke Evans and the #6 pick for a guy that was drafted #12, hasn't played a minute in the NBA yet, and is a stretch 4...a position we do not need?

I'll pass.

Reke and #6? No way. We'd need Saric and whatever pick we got ot #6. Maybe a S&T with Ryno or something, but Saric hasn't played at all in the NBA. He's not worth that much IMO.

no

If the team wants to move Evans, this is about as good a return as they will find. I doubt they do it because it makes them worse this season. And I doubt Philly takes Evans and 6 for their team.

It wouldn't bother me much if this happened. My main question would be how Saric's rookie deal looks- i think he can negotiate outside the rookie scale. And does that affect RFA rights/etc?

"Saric would be tied to his rookie-scale deal if plays in the NBA next season. Utah Jazz forward Trey Lyles, who was selected 12th overall in 2015, will make $10.4 million during his four-year rookie contract. Saric will make a little more than that if he comes over this summer. He would be able to negotiate a deal for a much richer salary with the Sixers if he waited until the summer of 2017. A league source said he believes Saric could receive about $6 million a season if he waits until next year. 1 week ago – via Philadelphia Inquirer" is from hoopshype

Have him locked in at that salary, losing Evans' contract, and receiving a player who I think could be an effective 3 are the things that make me think that this would be worth it... Definitely a big risk.. I just think that finding that small forward is not going to happen in the draft and tyreke's fit with gentry are the reasons why I would heavily consider this if i was dell

I love Tyreke but he's a bad fit
I would do that deal in a hot second
Saric would be on a rookie deal same as the #6 pick

anyone thinking Evans has better value around the league is nuts

I don't think we are in a position to be making more 2 and 3 assets for 1 trades anymore.

That's in part why we are where we are now. 2 assessts for Jrue. Ultimately 3 assets for Evans. Putting our eggs in smaller baskets.

Lots of cap space for Jrue, Evans and Asik. Now with holes at 2 positions and a need to upgrade at the center position. Giving up two assets, one a potential core piece, weakens that. Maybe if you could move Asik to free up cap space and to sign a cornerstone FA and get a later round draft pick that could make sense.

Not for the 6th pick.

Straight up for Evans. Hell yeah.

it's more likely that with the draft order set, the 76ers look to move Jahlil Okafor to Boston for #3.
Then they can take Ben Simmons at #1, and Kris Dunn at #3.

that's when you get:
PHI: Ben Simmons
LAL: Brandon Ingram
PHI: Kris Dunn
PHO: Dragan Bender
MIN: Buddy Hield
NOP: ??? Jamal Murray

If there is one thing Philly has no need for it is Centers. Okafor, Noel and Embiid. Zero reason for them to take on Asik's contract. Or Evans for that matter if they take Simmons.

True didn't think that. Maybe a 3 team trade that'll involve asik and reke

I have a really hard pinpointing any team that would take on Asik. The best I can come up with is a team that gets a huge injury to their starter and are desperate next season.

Evans is tough as well because of the injuries and stigma that he can't fit into up tempo, ball movement offenses that more and more teams are adapting. Maybe a Dallas Mavericks if they can't land anyone decent in FA. Both are hard to find fits for where you aren't taking on someones trash.

Shiiiiiitttt. I'd take Okafor for #6 and Asik with the quickness.

Yeah I would be good for a trade for Okafor and the 6th pick.
