Nah, he’s played Naji in spot duty as needed
Naji is averaging 19mpg this season, and has played every game this season since his return from injury to start the season.

That's not spot duty, that's a firm spot in the rotation.

Spot duty would be 8-10mpg with DNPs here and there.

Yeah Naji had been good in some games but this 19 mpg is a little ridiculous. I feel Willie gets caught up too much with “Naji type” players. This has been a constant issue with Willie- last season it was the Devonte minutes anf the season before were the Garrett Temple minutes. Every year its a constant theme of giving certain players too many minutes in the rotation.

I think it really does have to do with those type of players remind him of himself as a player. It has hurt the team for multiple seasons now and one of the many reasons that I want Green replaced.

The idea of Naji is better than the reality of naji. He's having a really good year, but he's not a player offensively that can move the needle enough to take heat off of Zion, and he has little to no gravity for someone constantly standing at the 3pt line.

A really good year? I guess when you compare it to his poor historical numbers he is but it's not like he's doing anything amazing. Hawkins offers way more than he does, especially in the long-run and should be getting more playing time than Naji.

and Naji, for the most part, comes through.
