HE probably did. BSS has some issues loading on mobiles.

Yeah i'm fine with Hill, especially if he continue his shooting from deep. Just wish he'd try to assert himself more from time to time.
He's shooting 36% from 3, and has always been a good FT shooter (83%). If you're a consistently good free throw shooter, you likely can be a pretty good 3 point shooter.

He takes only 5 shots a game, and often you don't even know he's on the court. I'd like him to find a way to get 10 shots off a game, without it being forced.

if we are able to get Fournier in the offseason for the 2018 pick I would be ecstatic.

Jrue/Frazier
Fournier/Moore
Hill/DC
AD/Diallo
Cousins/Jones

I'm good with that.

Replace Jones with a carousel of minimum guys and DLeaguers. You're not going to be able to keep Jones or DMo if you add someone like Fournier. Diallo really needs to be ready to play 20 MPG next season.

I wouldn't be shocked to see Diallo included in a deal to try and dump salary.

I was assuming we would be able to stay under the cap somehow and have the MLE.

When you look at it, it's imperative we make a big move again this offseason. After we resign Jrue, we won't have the money to do much of anything going forward, so finding that 4th guy is very important right now.

The team is certainly even more in win now mode. And if Diallo is like the team's 2017 draft pick then that means they have another 2017 pick they can trade.

Yeah, they will sell Diallo to us as their 2017 pick. I have been reporting that since December

It would be nice to see him get some minutes now.

No minutes for him this year but he could be a 4th big next year

But they really don't need to do that anymore. They can just sell Boogie as the 2017 pick which is a hell of a lot more exciting than Diallo.

Age wise. They will say yeah they are trying to win now but look we have this other young piece over here that's the same age or younger than most 2017 rookies

I could care less about Diallo. If we can trade him for something that gives us cap space or be a filler in a trade for a legit SG/SF, no one would be upset.

I hope they keep him. Real potential there but we don't like second rounders anyway.

If you dump Ajinca, stretch Asik and let Casspi, DMo and Cunningham walk, you'll have $11.3 million in cap space. You can get that to over $14 if you dump QPon. If you can find a way to dump Asik instead of stretching him, that's another $3.5 million, or $17.5 million in cap space

Would we have to do all of this in order to trade the 2018 pick for Fournier, since he's making $17M?

Seems like the best course of action is to make a trade after the draft, giving away our 2018 pick to get a guy like Fournier, or Crabbe. McCollum would be nice, but I doubt we have the assets to do that anymore.

This offseason is important to get someone good, and keep Jrue, b/c after next season when Jrue is making something retarded and Cousins resigns at $31M, we won't have much room to do anything, so the main core of players will be set this offseason.

Pretty much. They did up the trade rules from 150% for non tax payers to 175%. So in theory they could send out just $10 million and get Fournier back, but I don't think they'll have the contracts or assets to make that work. For next year Ajinca and QPon only add up to $8.8 million and the team will probably need Frazier. If Demps had another Frazier/Ish in his back pocket throw in Frazier and the 2018 pick for Fournier and you're in business. Otherwise you need to find a way to move Asik.

Agreed. You may not need to sign the final piece this offseason but it is important you get someone that will be a good enough value to help trade for the final piece.

Anybody have a clue as to what Tim Hardaway Jr. will command this offseason? It would be nice if we could get him before the trade deadline, if that meant he would be our RFA, but I doubt we could do that now.

all the guys that seem like they would be available make around the same, $17M. Fournier, Crabbe, Harris, Middleton, Matthews

If he could be had for under $10M/yr, that would be ideal. stretching Asik, getting rid of Ajinca somehow, letting Casspi go, can get us there right?

If we could do that, then resign DC using some exception or MLE or whatever, that would be an ideal offseason, outside of making a trade for a SG/SF.

Without Jones or DMo, we are pretty thin down low after AD and Cousins. They need at least 1 more big that can play decent minutes, and hopefully Diallo can help as well.

ATL was willing to trade him for 2nds a few weeks back. I don't know if they want Jones, but you could probably get him in some 3 way involving Jones if Hardaway was someone the team wanted as a $10 million player long term. He'd even fit in the trade exception we got out of the Cousins deal.

I'm sure we could find a way to send Jones to Cleveland, we get Hardaway, ATL gets our second round pick. But I would think they would want more than that.

Could send Jones to Chicago and we get Hardaway, and ATL gets our 2nd rounder and Chicago owns Sac's 2nd rounder.
