Let's say we do stay put at 5. The players in front of us that are picked are:

Nerlens Noel
Marcus Smart
Otto Porter
Ben McLemore

Who is your pick now?

Trey Burke?
Victor Oladipo?
Anthony Bennett?
Alex Len?

I actually think the 6th pick makes for an easier scenario...

Trey Burke... You build around a young point guard, whose proven that he can put his team on his back...

I actually want to trade the pick. The two players I want in this draft are Smart and Porter. If I had to pick In that spot, I would go with Burke though.

This kid is a Lex Luger. The total package. His will to improve is incredible. I'm pretty sure he was Leonardo da Vinci in a previous life. He's going to make Paul George look like Adam Morrison by the time he's done. And that's no slight to Paul George (a globe changer) or Adam Morrison, who just needs a chance.

I would love Oladipo. If we were to draft him, that would give us EG, Rivers, and Oladipo at SG. Would we move Rivers to PG permanently?

I think that's their plan with Rivers, maybe a combo guard off the bench but playing off ball has never been one of his strengths.

And I think the pick would be Oladipo. It'd be hard for them to pass on Burke but I think they'd choose defense over offense.

Isn't Oladipo's main "problem" his scoring ability? Seems like we need someone that can score more than anything.

IF Demps really plans on moving Gordon this offseason and moving Rivers to PG, then Oladipo probably needs to be the pick.

If they have no faith in Rivers at PG, then it needs to be Burke. His range, scoring ability, quickness, and leadership would be awesome to pair with Davis.

Dipo.

Our perimeter defense 1-3 would go from craptastic to pretty damn good.

I also have more faith in Rivers ability to compliment Gordon than most.

Yes,that the was the idea when they drafted him.

I hope we can get something for Gordon this summer, so we can move on from this mess.

Oladipo or Burke, dependent on Dell's other off-season moves.

Len seems like the kind of big-man reach that usually doesn't end well while Bennett, as a tweener, potentially doesn't find a position at the NBA level.

If we flip Gordon for parts, then Oladipo likely gets the pick over Burke.

Well...FA doesn't start until after the draft. So the only moves we would see is a trade.

Personally, I think we're more likely to move Gordon a few weeks in to FA to a team that missed out on the major FAs they were going for...but Dell has done some awesome things before so we'll see.

Dude, not funny.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you're talking about them being an item, not that Luger giving her downers is what caused her death.

Why would we draft the next Chris Paul when we are going to sign the current one? Oladipo all the way.

Kidding of course, but I still pick Oladipo. I like the flexibility he brings to the lineup and rotation.
