Jason Terry has decided to re-sign with the Houston Rockets on a 1-year deal, league sources tell RealGM. New Orleans made strong push.

Watkins is reporting that he hasn't made a decision and will announce tomorrow morning. That being said, I'll be surprised if he ends up in NOLA even though I'd love to have him.

@BobbyMarks42: Unless NOP suddenly ups their offer to the bi-annual it's 1.49m for NOP vs. HOU for Jason Terry, Familiarity certainly helps HOU.

@calvinwatkins: Source said Jason Terry plans to finalize his decision on where he plays Wednesday morning. Rockets or Pelicans.

Aka would rather play in NOLA but Dell isn't offering him as much.

Guess it's going to be Cole then?

What do you mean? Houston only offered 1 year veteran minimum...

Played ~22mpg last year (77 games), averaged 4.2 3pta, but made 39% of them.

112 ortg, 106 drtg

At this point, he's only a 3pt shooter, but he's damn good at it still.

I hate rooting for him, but he's consistent with his shooting, add that with Jrue, EG, QPon, and a hopefully improved Ryno gives you spacing in almost all of your lineups.

Same here, which is why I didn't comment on the previous Terry thread. I've always absolutely HATED Jason Terry. Just despised him. I didn't know if I had it in me to cheer for him.

I don't know why I hated him so much. Its not like he's a bad guy. He just really got under my skin.

I use to hate Reggie Miller...didn't seem to stop him from making it rain buckets.

I still hate Kobe...didn't stop him from being one of the absolute best of all time.

I use to hate Derrick Fisher...did not seem to stop him from being clutch as frick...a$$hole made a game winner in post season play with .3 seconds left.

If Jason Terry can help you or hurt you...I would rather have the asset vs being a potential casualty.

You can still hate him ,but respect is deserved with the Jet. He has played a long career and won at the highest level in his sport.

He would be an asset and a leader to this team...not to mention the obvious being that signing him takes a spacing threat away from Houston a division rival.

You're definitely not alone. He's the type of player you love having on your team but when he essentially plays his entire career for someone else in the division that can turn to hate pretty quickly.

I kinda like his viewpoint, he's good for the board.
