if come January (like the first week) they aren't at or above .500, he needs to go. i'm tired of the same shite night after night. no excuses now. that's a team the Pels should have easily beaten.

All of the players simply look lost out there, and it seems like we always make a boneheaded play in crunch time on D that allows the other team to pull away.

Have we seen Demps' roster play a single minute of basketball under a competent head coach. Yes or no? If no, then why the hell are we judging him at all. Firing him won't change much with this roster next year. Fire Monty. Give his roster a real coach. If we still can't play together, get rid of him when EG's contract is off the books to let another GM play with that cap space and the upcoming space with the new TV deal.

If you fire Demps Monty goes with him chances are the new gm will want his own coach. Fire dell IMO. I'm working on a metric to judge coaches and the preliminary results show Monty as being a middle of the road guy.

I dunno. A coach with better ideas would certainly help, but the roster is still fairly flawed. With the top 6 they have, 3 backup combo guards and 3 backup bigs is poor roster management.

Here is an article that specifically says that Demps and Williams are on the hot seat this season (LINK /). Almost everyone in the league has doubts about the way Demps has assembled this team and how the team mixes together. It was a shortcut attempt to put the team in the playoffs. If it doesn't work and the talent doesn't mix (the shite show that is our backcourt), then someone will have to go. Letting Demps stay, which means extending his contract, doesn't make sense. Especially if he gets to pick a new coach, which almost means a full rebuild or a very sizable one.

Have we seen Monty with a competent roster?

That knife cuts both ways

bullshite. The majority of basketball writers in this country have bashed the way Demps bought high on every piece he has acquured since Anderson. The guy has made more bad moves than good as a GM

AD's career is on a path of ruin if there is no coaching change on the horizon

I dunno about ruin

But definitely on a path to Chicago, LA, or NYC

Well...that's probably going to happen eventually anyway, but if we don't get a decent coach it will happen even sooner

Honestly, Gyno Sandberg was all over it from the start. Evans is talented, but may have the worst basketball IQ in the entire league.

People used to bash Vasquez for his "empty stats," but he at least played within the system. Evans thrives in iso situations and not much more. Watching a supposed PG ruin fast breaks on the reg is just downright disheartening.

I hope like hell we can trade Evans for something that fits what a successful NBA needs to do.

The Gordon contract, Reek signing, and drafting of Rivers right there should be cause enough for a lot of GMs to lose jobs

Add in not having any draft picks, overpaying everyone, letting Smith, Vasquez, Lopez, etc walk for nothing and it doesn't add up

The Anderson deal is honestly the only really top notch thing Dell has ever done with this team. The Vasquez deal was not bad, but not anything amazing.

This team is relatively healthy right now

And they suck

Monty is out of time/excuses in my book. He's terrible and he needs to go.

Like I said. I wasn't defending him. I didn't even see the game tonight so I'm not gonna attempt to defend him. But the OP said we suck no matter the players. And I'm saying we havent had any talent stay healthy before this year (and it's still really early)

For me, it will be a ruin if he goes to any of these teams especially LA.

The gordon contract in hindsight was a big mistake looking back on it but I understood it when it happened.

Tyreke has actually produced so he's not in this conversation.

People miss on 10th(and even before) picks like clockwork so..

Holiday is worth the 2 draft picks

overpaying everyone

And he's not overpaid,Tyreke really isn't either if you look at recent contracts.

Gordon skews this

letting Smith, Vasquez, Lopez, etc walk for nothing and it doesn't add up

Snith could never stay healthy. Vasquez is good but can't play D and would look for a new contract the next year if we kept him(where we'd be back where we are)

Asik>>>Lopez,Withey has also turned into a decent back up big.
