O calm down you baby, I didn't mean it. You post on tigerdroppings 100 times a day, don't get your feelings hurt because someone called you a moron for planting your flag in a Spencer Dinwiddie is the piece we need in the playoffs (with his 32% career PLAYOFF 3pt shooting %) over Jose and Naji. But I'll make sure I handle our debates with kid gloves from now on.

Lol this is the strangest apology ever. But for someone who posts on tigerdroppings just as much as me and acts like a baby when called out- I’ll take it.

PS- no one on this board defends Naji this much but good for you.

Kyle Lowry is the only buy out candidate we should have any interest in. I can see his experience and being a PG being helpful. Outside of that, we should just convert Matt Ryan and sign Karlo so we can see if he's worth keeping around sooner than later.

I actually think Lowry is a great fit. Although I think its almost a certainty he goes to Philly. Agree with Ryan. I feel like Karlo will be a 2 way.

They have a new 2nd round exception that went into affect this year that doesn't count towards the cap. So they can go a couple of directions with him.

Do you just like to repeat stuff I say or something?

PS- no one on this board defends Naji this much but good for you.

PS - No one has ever white knighted for Spencer Dinwiddie this much either fwiw

PSS - We do not post the same amount. At your current rate, if you stay on TD as long as I have, you'll be pushing 100k posts.

PSSS - No one should ever take what I say serious and any basketball prediction I have will always be the wrong one. I need a break from this board.

Much respect on this. Self awareness is never a bad thing and I agree maybe the break is needed.

Serious question...why is Philly a destination?

Their record is barely better than ours and their star is fragile as frick. They're definitely not winning a title this year. No way Embiid comes back and is effective.

Pels aren't winning a title either but I'd say we have a better shot than Philly and our fragile guys haven't gotten hurt yet.

Injuries or not, Philly does get to the playoffs every year.

And even with not knowing if Embiid will come back or not, I'd still say they have a better shot at winning the title than we do. I think we're at 0%. The way I'd look at it is Embiid returning is probably at least above 0% and if Embiid plays, their chances are above 0%. But either way, neither team is looking very good right now at winning a title this season.

Not sure that is how it works. I heard someone explain that the exception means a team can sign a 2nd rounder for up to 4 years without using offseason cap space or MLE. It was a mechanism to allow teams to sign them without dipping into the MLE. I think the salary itself still counts towards the cap. It is new so the explanation I heard could have been incorrect.

Dinwiddie has been a pouty bitch in Brooklyn for the past month+. Eric Bledsoe level shite. Maybe he’ll be more engaged on a better team but still not sure I want to bring him into the fold.

I saw multiple articles saying it didn’t count towards the cap. But none were that authoritative and it’s new. What I read could easily be a bad explanation that was repeated.

I agree this would be a good pickup.
