Hes had a horrible year but hes been trying to leave that team for a while. If you look at his previous years hes been damn good. Honestly its a gamble worth taking.

Do we really need another G? I don't see the fit at all.

More of a big vet pg with experience. CJ really isn’t a PG and is better off guard. Its someone in clutch situations or playoff situations you can trust handling the ball. I would say look at the wolves even with Ant they have conley and traded for monte morris.

Per McMenamin, Lakers are frontrunners for Dinwiddie.

I doubt he's moving the needle much anyway.

I mean who are you wanting to take minutes away from to give him run time? Especially in the playoffs.

Honestly probably Jose and/or Naji. Hes better than both.

I'd rather play Jose than Dinwiddie.

I wouldn’t mind that outcome but who does he take minutes from? Jose? Dyson? Naji (yeah right!)

We already clamor to play Hawk but this would solidify that neither he nor Ryan will see much run, barring injury. Ryan hasn’t played a single minute since being cleared.

Jose has almost single handedly won us numerous games this year. The spark he provides is real. Dinwiddie would probably more likely to shoot us OUT of games, instead of getting us back in them.

I don't dislike him, and if him and Naji's minutes are interchangeable (which I don't think they are, more than likely he takes Hawk completely out), then sure, but he doesn't need to take away Jose's minutes. It should be pretty clear to all of us, and more importantly the coaching staff, that Jose doesn't really need DNP's.

Another vet wouldn't hurt this team but I wouldn't expect Dunwiddie to just all of a sudden turn it around and start shooting it like he has in the past. At this point, Naji is a better shooter. I can't speak to how good of a defender Dinwiddie is though, I'm not sure.

I’m thinking we get someone like Cory Joseph or Joe Harris most likely.

In crunch time and playoffs, its highly likely Jose will not get many minutes. I love Jose but Dinwiddie in many aspects is the better basketball player. Dinwiddie was pretty unhappy with Nets and if you look at his previous career avgs- this year is really out of the norm.

Ok Naji is not the better shooter- lol im done. Don’t throw stats at me either.

Always assume Lakers are front runners for whoever they want.

Honestly wouldn’t mind getting Korkmaz. Can shoot. Play 2/3. Won’t take away guys minutes. Pacers just released him.

Might as well give playing time to Matt Ryan.

And why is that? His last playoff series he played almost 20 minutes a game versus the #1 seed and made a difference on both sides of the ball.

Don't throw stats at you? What? "Don't prove to me why you're right" Dinwiddie hasn't shot the ball well for over a year and a half, that can't be argued. I don't even need stats actually, everybody knows that.

You’re going to argue Naji is a better shooter than Dinwiddie??!! Everybody knows that?? On what planet? Are you going by limited minutes on a small sample this season what Naji has done to make this assessment??Lol go ahead have at it.

Most people don’t think Naji belongs in the rotation and you’re telling me hes a better shooter than Dinwiddie who majority of his career has been a solid shooter and impact rotational player with the NBA teams hes been with it? Yea he sucked with the Nets- but he was great with Dallas. The Nets have been garbage, I’ll gamble hes the player with the Mavs.

Jose got minutes 2 years ago against suns without booker. He matched up well with CP3. What other teams in a playoff series do you think he matches up well especially defensively?

What are you talking about? I'm going off of his entire career. He's literally 33% in his 10 year career from deep. He shot %40 twice and the other eight years he hasn't been a good shooter. I mean are we talking about the same person? He can get you buckets, yes, but it's based off volume, not because he's a good shooter

Great. Now do Naji and use his entire career and compare it to Dinwiddie and show me hows hes a better shooter than Dinwiddie. Go ahead and add a laughing emoji if you really think that enhances your point. I would love to hear this.

This argument is useless because hes liking Laker posts. So hes likely bound for LA.
