Saw this on reddit. I remember going to some games where he was wide open and the crowd would go electric, but only to see him miss.

Miss as many games as he has and its hard to hit any 3s at all.

Trevor Ariza in 81 games 96/226 3pts
Ryan Anderson 66 games 81/174 3pts
Don't really see much of a difference.

NBA's SAP/Sportsvu analytics disagree with you Anderson
How about stay classy and don't insult your former teammates/coaches that are a big reason for why you are making 20 million a year right now.

He thinks he had a bad time here? just wait until he has to play with Harden. At the very least, he got his shots. Not our fault his decision making was questionable at best.

Meh, I'm still bitter that we suck and he owes this team more than shitty remarks.

@MarkBermanFox26 @DavidFisherTBW Per NBAstats, Anderson shot 327 threes classified as either open or wide open last year (in 66 games)

I mean, for the record, the NOP aren't exactly a desirable location. There's a reason we don't get free agents (besides dell).
We got extremely lucky AD extended. He's our only hope to turn this team into something like the Warriors have done (turned Oakland into a desirable landing spot).

Yea just wait til he has to play with the player who gets more open 3s for his teammates than damn near any other player in the league.

Before you go full retard, stats were defaulted to playoffs.

Not really. NBA is set up so that you get to keep a star you draft for about 9 years if you want. No one turns down the max after a rookie deal.

Yeah...you don't really know how the NBA works if you think we were lucky.
But to answer the question that you quoted, I'd say considering what happened with his girlfriend, coupled with his back injury (not to mention just one playoff appearance), he probably won't look back on his time in NOLA too fondly.
On the other hand, he has said himself that this was a time of tremendous growth in his life. So I suppose that's a positive way of looking at it. But still, some of the worst things in his life happened during his time here. It's not necessarily the team's or city's fault. But it is what it is. He was ready to move on and that's completely understandable.
ETA: Now, the shots he took at our team (which, just like his basketball shot recently, was pretty inaccurate) were uncalled for. I lost a bit of respect for him. But I still like the guy and wish him well in the next chapter of his life/career.
