I liked Voodoo, Krewe, and Brass more than Pelicans, but I don't hate it.
I have to see the color scheme and new logos and all that before I decide if I like it though

Brass was definitely my favorite, but I think Pelicans will grow on me if the logo and color scheme are good enough.

Whatever our name, even if we were the Spirit, the name would fade from being not taken seriously. Cuz any obviously threatening name would sound kinda lame at first too.

Yes! I've been pulling for Pelicans from the beginning. Pelicans or keep Hornets, only two options.

It's all about the logo design. It doesn't matter what the name is as long as the logo looks awesome.
