If he did break into apartment, almost seems woman related.

Either way, the whole thing sucks. RIP

So this dude is breaking into apartments along with teammates threating to shoot him and him jumping to college after college. He probably had some issues.

Could've been drunk and thought it was his apartment. That actually happens in college towns a lot, young people getting wasted and breaking in thinking they live there and passing out.

A tragedy anyway it happened. RIP

I highly doubt that. More than likely woman related I'd think. Owner had the right if the reports are true though.

Is a sad situation though for sure.

Either way, at 3 am Saturday morning it's a safe bet that alcohol was involved and he wasn't thinking clearly.

Not if he's sober. If he was too drunk to think and reason that "my key doesn't work so this must not be my place". I'm just offering a theory here. Not trying to be disrespectful or anything, but it does happen so it's really not that ridiculous.

I listened to an episode of This American Life where they were interviewing police and normal residents of big time party college towns. Police said they responded to at least one call every weekend of "B&E" where kids who were black out level drunk broke in and just passed out. Interviewed one resident who for 15 years had lived a few blocks from the main bar area of town and over the years had probably found 10 kids passed out in there home.

ETA: see ^^^ he was on the wrong floor of his girlfriends apartment building and probably was too drunk to realize. So what I said clearly wasn't too off base or ridiculous.
