As scary as it is, Monty was a better coach than uncle Al. At least Monty gave a shite about defense.

At least Month was willing to adjust and didn't live and die by his trash system

That and the players fought hard and played well at times under Monty. I'm not sure I can agree with that statement under Gentry.

I mean what system do we run with 1 star and 4 bench/DLeague players? He's drawing up plays for AD every game, the system is literally help AD get the ball in good spots.

OR he's close to losing the team and Demps knows he needs to get X wins by January/February when Loomis takes a break from the Saints and checks in across campus.

I cringe every time I think about how much control Loomis has over this team. He needs to be shown the door along with Demps this offseason

Implying that Gentry has a 'system' is being charitable

If they get rid of Gentry this early, they have to be tanking the season.

Why? I thought Gentry served in the military with how well he's driving the tank.

They have run this organization into the ground. I don't even watch the games anymore. Fire him already!

That is not the answer either and considering the circumstances around it there is no way he'd even come back. Plus, he's got a much better gig in SA

Why we didn't hire JVG is beyond me. Gentry brought in some fancy pictures and graphs and swept the village idiot Dell off his feet I guess.

1) What's Amico's track record?

2) Why are coaches/GMs not in the organization privy to our HC situation?

3) There is zero reason to think Cal would do better

4) Because Benson is still calling the shots and wants to win now

Demps got swept up in the hype of the moment is all I can think of. That and he probably wanted full control. JVG probably would prefer a situation like his brother has in Detroit.

Probably the same reason Thibs was never seriously looked at. Despite him being the obvious coach that shored up our major deficiency.

The bar is set so low that he could literally not do any worse.

Hiring Cal would require some due diligence. You'd need to believe he'd have a decent chance at bringing in someone like Cousins. If he can then that should be enough talent to cover any coaching deficiencies he has. If he can't then you probably need to hope JVG is interested or that Ferry can find another Bud.
