The choices were limited to DC and Galloway if they had to send an expiring guy out. Galloway made more and created a bigger trade exception.

Cunningham should be a better player than he is it feels like. He's long, fairly smooth for his build, and seems like a smart dude.

I think he's one of the players who aren't going to lose you games but conversely he'll never win you games. I've always hated that approach. You're rarely sitting there thinking "Cunningham is killing us out there tonight". Then you look at the box score and he has 3 pts 3 Rebs 1 asst on 23 minutes and you're underwhelmed.

units w/ Cunningham (and/or Hill) at the 4 w/ Davis as the 5 were the most effective the Pels had. probably says more about Davis as a 5 than anything else, but even guys w/ obvious flaws like those 2 playing small ball 4 can be effective.




will be interesting to see how things shake out w/ Cousins. i probably would have moved Cuningham instead of Galloway if that was the choice.
