The minute I saw Jones wide open, I knew the brick was incoming.

Hill reminds me of Ariza as a Hornet but not as reliable of a defender. Ariza was good at attacking the basket and having no ability to finish either, and Hill's up to 32.4% from 3, Ariza was about 33% IIRC. Is Hill significantly worse than Ariza on defense, or is it Gentry needing more offensive threats? ie Would Monty be playing Hill 36 minutes a game?

Nope

But AD has a statline in the half that most players would love for a full game

19 minutes
6/11 FG, 8/9 FT
20 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 2 blocks, 1 turnover

No, Galloway is getting his minutes and he's earned them.

Buddy should play no later than the beginning of the fourth if we are up 15+

He needs reps obviously

He definitely needs reps, but his on/off numbers have been so horrendous they can't play him unless they are up 20.

fair comp. Ariza might have been a bit better on defense, but Hill is a better dribbler/passer.

Hopefully that's the last of AD and Jrue for the night. Time for Buddy and Diallo (if he's active) to get 12 minutes.

The thing that made Galloway so effective (playing off ball) has been completely taken away from him tonight. Gentry truly is a moron with rotations sometimes.

While I don't disagree, starting Jrue is the right move
