Is a 2019 pick "too much" for you? Because that is what they are offering essentially. That probably wouldn't even get it done though
But the Pels feel like they are playing with found money with that pick, because they actually offered it to Sacto a few days ago and then pulled it back once Boogie's agent started mouthing off

Yeah I don't see why we should pay a lot for this guy. I think a future first could net us a solid wing player or help dump Asik.

Lou is not worth a 1st rounder. A guy like Hollis Thompson can be had for no picks and in my opinion would be a better fit on this team.

Eh, they get salary relief and the pick will be in the mid 20's. I don't think that's too bad. It also fits the no defense mantra that Houston is going for.
