And I find it surprising that Vlade, Vivek and the minority owners all agreed on something at the same time. That never happens.

Termine and Eddie Johnson had one of the minority owners on after Vlade said he definitely wouldn't trade Cousins 2 weeks ago and the owner talked about how much they like and respect Cousins, but wouldn't go so far as to say he's untradeable like Vlad said.

Had a friend like this when I was in college. He'd walk up to a group of girls in the club and ask the hottest one to dance. When she shot him down he'd turn to the next girl in the group and ask her. He'd repeat until it worked and always end up fricking someone in his car before the night was done (a red Porsche his daddy bought him).

The Kings have had Cousins for almost 7 seasons now and they have yet to make the playoffs with him. It's time for them to start over. Keeping him for another 5 years is pointless as they will just delay the rebuilt. They have had enough time to try to build around him and they have yet to put anything near competent together to help him take the Kings to the next level.

I suspect they know this and will trade him before they are forced to commit to him long term. Whether it's us or not, Cousins will be on a new team come next season.

perhaps the only less competant GM in the league than dell is divac
I could see them entertaining that offer

Boston is not trading brown or the nets pick for cousins
lakers are not trading Ingram and their top 3 pick for cousins
There are legitimate reasons why cousins might be gettable, I don't think either Boston or LA has to take that kind of a chance. The pelicans do

if by some stroke of luck this could happen you get him and figure it out

Also, it would benefit the Kings to get worse this year so they can keep their own pick. They can:

Keep Boogie and have no pick

or

Have Buddy, their own 2017 pick, NOLA's 2017 pick, and NOLA's 2019 pick.

If they are smart enough to look at it that way (doubtful), it could be a smart play for them

I haven't looked into it or thought about Tom's mindset. Any possible way we can trade for Boogie and re-sign Jrue?

That's the entire plan, so yes

Would probably have to start with unprotected 2017 and 2019 picks as well as Buddy and Reke.

Give em all of that, don't think twice.

You don't really need protected picks if you have AD and Boogie. If those 2 can't ge team to the playoffs, we have much bigger issues.

But at this point, frick it, lets do something else crazy while we have AD here for the next 4 years.
Definitely, standing pat isn't going to help.

Everyone on the entire team not named AD should be available in some form for a dude averaging 28/11/5.

If either were possible, it would be George, and it is not even close. Cousins has a lot of issues. George is clean and a better fit.

The concern is metal rods are still in George's leg. That big of an injury will always be a concern.

Ones head could blow up. Ones leg could blow up. I think Boogie would be interesting with the Twin Towers experiment, but I think George is the better fit.

Always take the better player.

There's no debate that Boogie is the better player.

I don't think there's enough of a difference to make up for Boog's baggage and the fact that PG plays a much more beneficial position for the modern era and next to AD.

The difference is in the package that it would take to land George. Even then there's no guarantee they he resigns. He'll look to sign with a established winning team. Acquiring George is a lot more risky imo.
