He said the same thing a few days ago. That doesn't make the team any less active, but I don't think this is new news so to speak.

Active also doesn't necessarily mean making a bunch of moves. In my opinion, it means actively trying to make moves. Being active doesn't guarantee deals are made.

Any trade we get into is not going to be pretty. More than likely we'll swapping an underachiever for another underachiever. The only assets we have who have real market value are:
AD (not going anywhere)
JH (Demps has said he's not on the table)
TE (Demps won't move because he won't admit he couldn't afford him in the first place)
Ryno (Who knows what's going to happen on him. Draft day he was off limits one minute {Clippers} and on the table the next).
That's going to be a joke if we have to deal Ryno just to make the Asik trade...I mean a complete joke.

Not neccessarliy, or at least I hope not. We gave up a 1st for Jerryd Bayless and traded him a month later. I know if we were to trade Tyreke, a lot of people will critcize Demps for admitting he made a mistake, but I'd rather him do that (not neccasrily speaking about Evans, rather any player he deemed a "mistake") than holding on to a player just to attempt to prove it was a good deal.

It's not going to come to that. I'm sure you've seen the Kevin Martin/Budinger for Gordon proposals out there, and I think that's actually a fair deal because I wouldn't make the trade if we didn't already have Asik and needed to sign someone like him in 2015 FA. Gordon deals have instantly become more viable because we no longer need them to return an expiring thanks to trading for Asik. And even if Gordon trades were off the table, dumping Rivers has always been a viable fall back. Philly or Orlando would snap up Rivers and voidable scrubs for free in a heart beat. Dumping Gordon is the first option, but dumping Rivers has to be plan B, not trading Ryno for parts and cap space.
